Licensed Clinical Social Worker

This full-time or part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker position will provide outpatient individual, family and group therapy services to children, families and adults at our Deaf Services Office located in Indianapolis, IN. Duties include: evaluations/ assessments, treatment plans, crisis intervention/emergency services, individual and group therapy/counseling services and some in-home services, as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education required
• Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Maraige and Family Therapist (LMFT), by the State of Indiana  
• Two years professional experience in providing clinical social work service to, preferably, in a mental health/health care setting
• Must be able to effectively communicate in American Sign Language (ASL), with deaf, deaf-blind and hard of hearing individuals
• Knowledge of deaf culture and resources related to deafness
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines
• Must be extremely detail oriented
• Good communicator with strong written skills
• Good presentation skills
• Must be flexible and cooperative
• Must be able to learn quickly and grasp new procedures and concepts
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Ability to work and effectively deal with multiple types of personalities in a variety of situations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be results driven
• Professional presentation
• Must be self-motivated and research oriented
• Must possess and demonstrate good problem solving skills
• Must support diversity

Desirable Qualifications:
• Licensed by the State of Indiana preferred; applicants with an out-of-state LCSW license, must apply for Indiana licensure within 30 days to obtain temporary LCSW license
• Prior experience working with children, families and/or adults
