Home Based Therapist - Home & Community Based Services

If so, we may have the perfect role for you as a Home Based Therapist on our Home & Community Based Services Team at Aspire Indiana.

Position Summary

The Home Based Therapist will provide in-home counseling services to children and their biological families, or their foster families, and adults with SMI for our Elwood Office located in Elwood, IN. Duties include evaluations/assessments, treatment plans, individual & family therapy, crisis intervention and some after hours availability for crisis situations.

CRITICAL FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Education

  • Master's degree Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education required

 Experience

  • Knowledge of child welfare and or juvenile probation systems
  • Prior experience with this population preferred

Licensure:

  • Must be recognized as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of Indiana or be licensed eligible 

Other

  • Must maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
  • Must have the ability to use private car to transport self and others
