The Supervisor, Supervised Group Living position is a full-time position for our 24-hour Adult Group Home located in Anderson, IN. Duties include, but are not limited to: coordinating program activities, supervising assigned staff and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day operations in the supervised group living program. 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health related field from an accredited college and three (3) years related work experience;
  • Other Bachelor level degrees considered with a minimum of five (5) years related work experience; 
  • Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience;
  • Previous work experience in a health care setting; preferably mental health, highly preferred;
  • Prior experience with adults who have severe mental illnesses, highly preferred;
  • Solid understanding of the behavioral health field highly desired;

Other

  • Ability to work and effectively deal with multiple types of personalities in a variety of situations;
  • Must exhibit leadership qualities and be capable of exercising good judgment in crisis situations;
  • Must possess and demonstrate good presentation and training skills;  
  • Strong ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle highly confidential information with professionalism;
  • Must have reliable transportation to attend trainings, meetings and/or transport consumers to appointments;
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization;
