Supervisor, Entitlement Specialist

Position Summary

The Entitlement Specialist Supervisor will ensure a smooth operation of Health Navigator functions through supervision, training and support of Entitlement Specialists, as well as directly providing quality Health Navigation services.  The Entitlement Specialist Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the Entitlement Specialists and assisting Aspire clients in obtaining and retaining Medicaid and other healthcare benefits through education, advocacy and collaboration with other treating professionals.


  • Bachelor's degree from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education  required, preferably in Healthcare Administration, Behavioral Sciences or Rehabilitation


  • Five (5) years' total experience with at least two (2) of those years in a supervisor capacity required
  • Community Mental Health experience highly preferred


  • Must be certified as an Indiana Healthcare Navigator


  • Must possess a working knowledge of FSSA Entitlements eligibility and Medicaid rules and regulations
  • Must be able to work and effectively deal with multiple types of personalities in a variety of situations
  • Strong ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle highly confidential information with professionalism
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
  • Must have reliable transportation to visit multiple work sites and/or attend trainings and/or meetings
