Team Lead - HCBS

The Team Lead will work with seriously mentally ill adults on our Home and Community Based Services Treatment Team in Anderson, IN. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the unit in providing services to consumers by identifying, obtaining, negotiating, and maintaining resources and services they both want and need to be successful and satisfied in the environment of their choosing, training and mentoring new Life Skills Instructor's and Care Coordinator's, care coordination, skills training, case management, assessments, and other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other related field. If unrelated degree must have experience in a service capacity of individuals in need (e.g., children, youth, elderly, physically, emotionally, and/or mentally disabled, special needs, etc.) and some related course work as determined through review of college transcripts
• A minimum of two (2) years equivalent experience in past professional or non-professional role
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines
• Must be capable of exercising good judgment in crisis situations
• Must be extremely detail oriented
• Good communicator
• Good presentation skills
• Must be flexible and cooperative
• Must be able to learn quickly and grasp new procedures and concepts
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Ability to work and effectively deal with multiple types of personalities in a variety of situations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be results driven
• Professional presentation
• Must be self-motivated and research oriented
• Must possess and demonstrate good problem solving skills
• Must support diversity
• Must maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization

Desirable Qualifications:
• Prior work or life experience with adults with serious mental illness
• Knowledge about Recovery with demonstrated ability to engage consumers in developing and working on Recovery goals
• Familiar with evidence-based practices, such as WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) and IMR (Illness Management and Recovery)
