Aspire Indiana is a non-profit comprehensive community mental health center that provides a full continuum of services.  

Aspire Indiana HIV/AIDS Services program seeks a qualified candidate for a full-time HIV Care Coordinator in the Lafayette, IN area! This position will be working with a diverse population who are served by our ISDH grant-funded programs.

The HIV Care Coordinator will work with HIV-positive clients primarily in a case management role assisting them in securing income, health insurance, and mental health services, in order to increase and facilitate client self-sufficiency. This is a multi-disciplinary team that provides ongoing support to consumers in the community.

Minimum Requirements:

Required: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Pastoral Counseling, Family and Child Development, Public Health; or a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in another field which includes a minimum of twelve (12) hours of course work (earning grades of "C" or better) in human behavior, social policy, social welfare or counseling (to be approved by the Indiana State Department of Health). Well qualified candidates will function optimally working as a member of a diverse and specialized team, but must be comfortable working independently. Must have reliable transportation and possess/maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization.

Preferred: Knowledge of social service and financial assistant programs a plus.
