Referral Clerk

If you think you may be a valuable team player in this type of environment, Aspire Indiana is currently looking for a full-time Referral Clerk.     

Position Summary

The Referral Clerk will be responsible for performing the day-to-day operations and workflow process for internal and external referrals and documenting in the electronic health record in coordination with clinical providers.  The Referral Clerk will also be responsible for verifying insurance benefits, medical history and contact information and will gather the necessary medical records for the appointment.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • Experience working with diverse populations groups including behavioral health, infants, children, adults, and/or pregnancy required
  • Experience working in clinical outpatient settings preferred
  • Experience scheduling and documenting within an Electronic Health Record (EHR) required

Background Checks
