POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Support Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day helpdesk and support of Aspire's Information Systems.  This position will investigate, troubleshoot and resolve (in real-time) issues brought to the helpdesk. This role will also keep inventory up to date and test new hardware and software configurations.

CRITICAL FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Some IT experience required

Other:

  • Must have an interest in computers and related technologies and helping people
  • Must have strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively via phone, video or in person, including communicating technical solutions to a non-technical workforce
  • Must possess the ability to learn and/or operate relevant computer operating system environments, and the ability to operate a variety of office equipment (copier, scanner, phone system, etc.)
