POSITION SUMMARY

The Director, School Based Services is responsible for advancing Aspire's school-based behavioral health services, including the promotion, establishment, and fostering of collaborative relationships with schools and school systems. This position investigates community need, recommends, and pursues potential school partnerships, while ensuring the quality and operational efficiency of existing school-based services. This position is expected to work effectively in cooperation with other Aspire clinical services as part of an effective family-focused continuum of care. As a member of the School Based Services Team, you will serve as a leader and continuously promote the direction and expectations set forth by that team, in conjunction with the administration of Aspire Indiana.

CRITICAL FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
 
Education:
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or directly related human service field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education required

Experience:

  • Five (5) years directly related work experience required

  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience or equivalent role preferred

  • School Based or Community Mental Health experience highly preferred

  • Knowledge and application of utilizing social service systems (Medicaid, Social Security, Corrections, etc.)

Licensure:

  • Must be recognized as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of Indiana
