Position Summary

The School Based Therapist will provide a wide range of school based services to children and their families. Duties include, but are not limited to: evaluations/assessments, treatment plans, individual & family therapy, skills training, case management, crisis intervention and some after hours availability for crisis situations.

Critical Functional Skills & Knowledge


  • Master's degree from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education required
  • Must be recognized as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of Indiana
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently
  • Knowledge of school systems, special education, child welfare and/or juvenile probation systems and experience with ages 3-18 in a school setting strongly preferred

Salary is based on licensure and/or related experience
