This position will provide leadership and coordination of Aspire's Human Resources functions, develop and implement corporate Human Resource strategy and programs, lead the HR Department by overseeing administration of employee relations, recruitment, retention, termination, personnel records, legal compliance, benefits, payroll, and training/development. This position will also develop, maintain and administer policies and procedures, advise and counsel senior management and participate as a key decision maker regarding employment and workplace practices in support of Aspire's mission, vision, values and strategic priorities.
CRITICAL FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education required
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education preferred
- Five (5) years of recent experience as an HR professional with at least three (3) years at a senior level which includes supervisory responsibilities
- Healthcare and/or nonprofit experience preferred
- Solid understanding of the behavioral health field highly preferred
- Knowledge and experience in Joint Commission Standards
- Human Resources certification required
- PHR minimum, SHRM-SCP preferred (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
